ROSS ANDREWS, Esq.

Ross Andrews, Esq., the second founding member of the firm, has been practicing labor law, plaintiff's employment law and disability benefits law since 1993.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Andrews was associated with Beins, Axelrod, Osborne, Mooney & Green, in Washington, D.C., where he maintained a similar practice. In addition to representing unions and plaintiffs in employment matters, Mr. Andrews has extensive experience handling disability claims. The latter includes the representation of claimants seeking Social Security Disability ["SSD"] and Supplemental Security Income ["SSI"] benefits; individuals seeking Long Term and Short Term Disability benefits; and employees who require accommodations.

Mr. Andrews has co-taught labor law as an adjunct professor at the Syracuse University College of Law; and he has been a Guest Lecturer at the Syracuse University College of Law and the Cornell School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He has presented training programs for the Service Employees' International Union, United Autoworkers, the United Steelworkers, as well as the Industrial Relations Research Association. Mr. Andrews has presented papers to the New York State Bar Association, Labor and Employment Law Section and the Industrial Relations Research Association. Mr. Andrews published "Employment-at-Will in New York Remains Essentially Unchanged after a Century of Refinements," New York Bar Journal, Fall, 1999.

Mr. Andrews is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center (1992). Mr. Andrews is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts in New York, as well as federal district and/or circuit courts in several other jurisdictions.

Mr. Andrews is Past President, Industrial Relations Research Association, Central New York Chapter; Executive Committee Member, Onondaga County Democratic Committee. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Labor and Employment Law Section, AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee, National Employment Lawyer's Association, Central New York Labor-Religion Coalition, Onondaga County Bar Association, Working Families Party, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives.

In addition to practicing law, Mr. Andrews enjoys coaching youth baseball, engages in a variety of civic activities, and is an avid SU sports fan.
